This was in a field of 150 contestants. He hasn't looked back since. As the song goes "I've played everywhere man..." from Whitehorse in the Yukon to Quebec and the Maritimes to the States. He's played with some real interesting people including the bass and pedal slide players of the Merle Haggard band, the Millar brothers of California, the Dilliards and various professional players. Blues is his love, and he's been playing it forever but started truly focusing on that one style in the last few years. Now he sings the blues as a main focus, and has been having great fun doing it. |

Davis ManningDavis Manning is one of the founding members of "Skinny's Blues Crew" and has been a part of our Saturday nights from the beginning. Now and again Davis will play a guitar, a sax, a suitcase, a harmonica, and sometimes you can catch him playing guitar and singing a bunch of his own songs, which you'll love, including tunes by Eric Clapton, Joe Cocker, Lyle Lovett, John Prine and even Concrete Blond. |

Landon LemayA phenomenal bass player with a sense of rhythm that can't be beat...no pun intended. Landon is also a great sound man and is somehow always "just there". He also writes songs and plays lead guitar. He's been trading licks with the local players...and more...for years. A truly "metropolitan talent" with a down home flavour. |

John B. YoungJohn's piano lessons began before starting school and continued through grade twelve. In the high school band John played trombone before moving to the percussion section. This led to a drum kit, playing rock & roll and dabbling with bass & guitar. Presently, John is playing congas and is back to his roots -- practicing piano! |
